Indian cyclists crashed out in the qualification round of the men’s 4000m team Pursuit, while New Zealand finished first in the competition. The team of Venkappa Kengalagutty, Dinesh Kumar, Ananth Narayan SS and Vishwajeet Singh finished sixth with a time of 4:12.865 minutes in the six contestants’ event.

New Zealand finished on top with a time of 3:49.821, while England (3:50.796) took second place. New Zealand and England will face each other in the gold medal bout while third-placed Australia will take on the fourth-placed Wales team in the bronze medal bout.
